MPDV: Eddie's Archive.

Hola a todo el mundo, aqui nuevamente el gus reportandose con una nueva entrada en este blog, en esta ocasión, para hablarles del segundo boxset de la doncella de hierro, Eddie's Archive del año 2002: 


Disco publicado el 16 de Noviembre del año 2002 bajo el sello EMI.
Este boxset esta dividido en tres partes, el primero, que seria el BBC Archives es una recopilación de conciertos grabados por la BBC de Londres de Iron Maiden durante la decada de los 80 principalmente y otro hecho a finales del año 79 antes de grabar su primer disco. El segundo, grabación del concierto en el Hammersmith Odeon durante la gira del Number Of The Beast en Marzo de 1982 y el ultimo son los lados B de los singles de la banda.
Un boxset muy interesante para los colecciónistas, ya que contiene muchas rarezas de la banda en la actualidad.

MPDV: Eddie's Head

Buenas tardes a todo el mundo, aqui nuevamente yo, el gus, hablandoles acerca del segundo boxset de Iron Maiden, el Eddie's Head, sacado al mercado en el año 98:

Colección de 13 discos de Iron Maiden reeditados desde el mitico primer disco Iron Maiden hasta el Live At Donnington 92, con la diferencia de que, en el 13vo. disco se encuentra un disco extra donde te platican la historia de Iron Maiden desde el principio hasta el año 98.

Los discos, como lo habia comentado, son los discos que fueron sacados pero reeditados, y los discos los cuales habian sacado canciones [los tres primeros] les fueron repuestas las canciones; más aparte de que el arte en muchos fue rehecho como el caso de el No Prayer For The Dying o remasterizado como el caso del de Iron Maiden, Killers Number Of The Beast o Live At Donnington 92.

También, incluia lo que era la cara de eddie la mascota que servia para guardar los discos. Otro punto importante, es que en los costados de los discos traia una parte del primer disco de la banda, y, al juntarlos todos, se recreaba la caratula inicial del Iron Maiden completa.

A continuación, solo incluyo el tracklist del ultimo disco, ya que, los otros 13 son los de los discos que ya reseñe anteriormente, saludos.

MPDV: The First Ten Years [Boxset]

Buenas noches, aqui el gus, en esta ocasión para hablarles del boxset The First Ten Years de Iron Maiden:

Publicados entre el 24 de Febrero y el 28 de Abril de 1990 conmerando la primer decada del grupo editando sencillos.

Como les habia comentado la ocasión anterior, cada CD/doble 12 pulgadas contiene dos sencillos que ya habian sido previamente publicados, incluyendo los lados B y un track extra el cual forma parte de la serie de Listen With Nicko, el cual, hace un comentario de los discos con su caracteristico humor. Como dato curioso de los discos, cada uno venia con un cupón, y, al juntar y enviar los diez cupones, recibias con previa solicitación una caja de edición limitada para almacenar los CD´s o los vinilos.

De esta recopilación, si he de ser sincero, solo me ha tocado ver lo que son los singles de Running Free y Run To The Hills en original, y nada más aunque estaba leyendo en Wikipedia que es bastante facil conseguir los discos pero las cajas ya no.

Un Boxset muy interesante e inclusive muy recomendable por su grado de rareza en cuanto a las canciones y los extras.
