El Best Of The Beast fue publicado el 24 de Septiembre de 1996 bajo el sello EMI en Reino Unido, en esta ocasión, hubo varios productores principalmente Martin Birch siendo el mayor productor de discos de la doncella.
Este disco, lo unico que les puedo decir es que, esta lleno de material ya conocido de la banda, desde el Iron Maiden hasta el X Factor, incluyendo una versión en vivo de Afraid To Shoot Strangers lanzado como single con Blaze Bayley y teniendo como excepción de la canción Virus
Otro punto importante es que, existen 4 versiones del disco; 1 CD, 2 CD´s, LP y MD siendo mi versión favorita la de LP aunque sea mucho muy dificil de conseguir, y a continuación, como siempre, se las voy a poner a continuación el tracklist junto con el video de Virus. Saludos y hasta luego.
